Product Return Procedure
Buyers wishing to return products are responsible for return shipping costs and will incur a fee of either $30.00 or 30% of the purchase price, whichever is greater.
Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA)
All returns require a prior RMA. Products must be returned within 30 days of the original purchase date. Customers must request and complete the RMA form to receive an RMA number, which is valid for only 10 days. Returned products must be received by PC Part Surfer within this 10-day period. Clearly write the RMA number on the return packaging for the Returns Department.
RMA Policy
- Product Stated as Defective: Contact PC Part Surfer within 3 business days of receiving your order to request an RMA number. This number will be issued within 3-5 business days of your request. Once the RMA is authorized, an exchange can be initiated. The buyer is responsible for return shipping in the original, unmarked packaging. Upon arrival, our RMA Department will test the product. If deemed defective, PC Part Surfer will credit your original shipping costs and send a replacement.
- Discrepancies or Buyer Damage: If PC Part Surfer finds a returned product with a different serial number, missing items, or damage caused by the buyer, the RMA will be cancelled, and any credits issued will be charged back to the payment method on file.
Refund Request
Contact PC Part Surfer within 3 days of receiving the product to request an RMA for a refund. Refunds are only available within the 30-day return period, with no exceptions. RMA numbers for refunds are issued within 3-5 business days. The buyer has 10 days from receiving the RMA number to return the product at their own expense, or the RMA will be voided. PC Part Surfer will inspect the returned product to ensure it is not damaged, and the serial numbers match. If the product passes inspection, the product and original shipping fees will be credited. A minimum restocking fee of $30 or 30% of the purchase price (whichever is higher) will be applied to all non-defective returns.
Physical Damage and Warranty Voidance
Any product exhibiting physical damage or malfunctioning due to incorrect buyer installation will void the warranty and cannot be returned for a refund or replacement. Physical damage includes, but is not limited to, improper handling or damage from irregular use. If a damaged item is returned to PC Part Surfer, it will be shipped back to the buyer at the buyer’s expense.
